I wanted a Christmas jacket but I didn’t want to use the traditional red and green colors. I embroidered Christmas ornaments and carousel motifs, (from www.emblibrary.com). and used various trims for accents. I made one trim using ribbon and decorative stitching. Again, I used decorative stitching to enhance the overall design of the garment. The decorative thread used is Madeira Supertwist Metallic. The Bolero jacket is from my “I’m Wearing My Quilt” pattern collection, #0803 and was modified by lengthening the hemline.
